I hate being lumped in with the north shit people and being made fun of for an accent that I don’t even have. This lisp people love to make fun of was literally developed in the north or central of spain, not the south aka andalusian settlers that came to latinamerica. Caribbean spanish which even some of south americans like to make fun of was literally influenced by andalusians and canary islands. And it makes me so pissed when people don’t even know this, believe me I fucking hate the lisp too. I seriously hate being associated with the north, even with our own people we get called monkeys or other derogatory terms, and it sucks that i cant explain this or argue about it because i feel i’d just seem like im justifying colonialism and I dont want to do that seriously
