Dean blunt’s music reminds me of NYC. Maybe it’s cause he has a song literally called I Run New York and upon seeing the title everything just clicked. I know he is from london but if you think about it london and NYC both give the same vibe. It’s pretty metropolitan yeah. I’ve only been to NYC once during my visit to the US and it was definitely way different from what I was used to, but, to me that’s some place that I can’t feel anywhere else either. And I like it. A lot of people can describe NYC as chaotic, and that’s really what I love about it. NYC is full of the good and bad things, there’s always something going on in every corner you look, it’s always breathing always alive. That’s how I feel with Dean’s music. It’s like I’m actually living the moment. He’s one of the few artists I always get this euphoric feeling when listening to em, I get a feeling like I’m so deeply familiar with this atmosphere that’s playing. But you know, I’m not familiar with NYC, and it’s that very close but so far distance that I find comfort in
