• wow imagine me crying watching the behind-the-scenes for 1917 and my heart literally throbbing out of my chest because cinema is absolutely everything to me and this is such an important story and oh my goodness i'm so glad i get to write for the screen! everyday i get to study my craft, explore entire worlds of storytelling, feel that uncomfortable straining, you know the one, where you're doing something you love but you are absolutely suffering through it, and you come out on the other side, a little winded but knowing that the pain is just practice for perfection down the road. goodness it isn't easy but i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world
• i'm just curled up under my blanket thinking abt dylan's red carpet pictures from when the pacific premiered and how messy his hair was and how one of his sleeves was definitely longer than the other and i'm just. astounded that he and jay are the same person. they're literally the same man they are a MESS
