- true grit - i thought the scoring was much too pretty for the movie and i wasn't keen on any of the characters. i understood that mattie has grit, but i didn't love her. matt damon wasn't transparent in his role, and bridges was okay but i didn't understand 75% of what he was saying. i liked most of the shots and the setting.
- the fighter - i loved this movie; especially christian bale. the dialogue was sharp and the pacing was good. amy adams was believable in her role although i did laugh when she attacked one of the sisters. i still don't care for mark wahlberg.
- black swan - girl crush on mila kunis. i was actually really scared watching this at home alone. the story was refreshingly original.
- toy story 3 - call me heartless, but i didn't cry or really enjoy it. i wanted it to end about halfway through because i stopped caring. which is strange because i loved the first one.
- the social network - grew on me a lot the second time around. i wasn't particularly into it, watching a bootlegged from the theatre version. i think i missed most of the dialogue. on the second watch, i loved it. i thought it addressed the internet and the social networking age from a really relatable and true perspective. it's lonely.
- inception - pretty.
