Maybe it's because it's 4am, or maybe it's because there's a Harry and the Potters concert tomorrow, but I'm feeling awful sentimental about Harry Potter at the moment. I need to write her a letter, even if I never send it. It just needs to be written.

These verses are so amazing, that I've had to physically stop the song and play them over again in order to bask in their magnificence
- "I'm a grape, I'm a sweet necterine, my skin gets stuck in your teeth." from Boston Girl by Givememotion
- "Because the way that we listen is defined by our ears." from The Fermi Paradox: A Song by nerdfighter, Hank Green.
- "All they say are words, all they say are just words." and "Maybe there's a reason I freak out, when I look down and all I see are black keys" From Just Words by Givememotion

but then I did....
- Garou -God, his voice is amazing.
- Hugh Laurie -His character (House) may have something to do with it, but it's mostly the eyes. They are gorgeous.
- Draco Malfoy -He's an arrogant jerk from the very first book, but Tom Felton plays him so well, and he becomes such a complex character nearing the end of the series that I can't help but be attracted.
- Jean-Baptiste Maunier -He was 14 when "Les Choristes" came out. So I don't think it's right for me to find him attractive. All the same, his voice is that of an angel, so I feel that it's justified.
- Voldemort -Well, he still isn't attractive, but in A Very Potter Musical he was played amazingly by a really attractive guy, Joe Walker, and so I'm hooked.

- JK Rowling. Undeniably the coolest person in the world. I have only two words for you: Harry. Potter.
- Stephen Fry. He writes, acts, podcasts, and he's the voice for the british Harry Potter audio books.
- Hugh Laurie. Not only is he the most awesome doctor in the world, maybe second to Doctor Who , but he's an amazing british actor with great comic timing.
- Cassandra Clare. Her character Jace may be my soul mate. For that, she is amazing.
- Alison Sudol. Her voice is beautiful, the name of her band is based off of Shakespeare, and her lyrics are the most amazing I have ever heard.
- John Green. I love his books, and his youtube videos. He's insightful, witty and very nerdy.
- Natalie Tran. She's very popular on youtube, and I adore her videos. She's incredibly, awkwardly, awesome.

- They're the largest animal known to exist, in the history of EVER.
- Despite their size, we don't even know their mating patterns.
- They're 180 metric tons, yet they dine on krill. FOURTY MILLION A DAY!
- A mouth that can fill 90 tons of water, and a throat that can barely fit a beach ball.
- They live everywhere. (most of the salt water areas on earth...)
- A child could crawl down its aorta.
- The calls they make. They're voices are pretty awesome.
- The idea of it being a patronus. Imagine it coming out of a wand, and just filling up the entire classroom while students are practicing. It would be so lawls.
- THEIR HEARTS.So much room to love me. :D

Today, on facebook, a bunch of my friends took a "What house are you in?" test, which resulted in "At least I'm not a Hufflepuff" comments. This reminded me that I'm getting sick and tired of all this crap about it sucking to be a Hufflepuff, hence this list. So if you're on the hating-Hufflepuff bandwagon, I hope this can convince you otherwise.
- They're loyal. I'm starting to get severely annoyed with people not appreciating the awesomeness of loyalty. I'd much rather be considered a good person who'll stand by my friends through thick and thin than someone who cares about my grades more than anything else.
- Helga Hufflpuff was the only founder who was willing to be completely inclusive to people with magical abilities, the rest wanted to basically discriminate. That's not cool.

- I prefer using my parents old SLR camera to my digital one.
- Sending letters rather than emails, if only because I like receiving them
- I enjoy most popular music, until I hear the song twice in a day.
- I was a Twilight fangirl until grade 10.
- Fanfiction kept Harry Potter alive for me for a good while after the final installment.
- I find difficulty going a day without my ...

Not necessarily funny...
- While walking with Anna at Stanley Park, discussing what we would do when we got to the bridge that was coming up.
- "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it"
- While reading the back of Reid's book. (Incidentally, this is after him insisting there's no such thing as a good reid/read joke)
- "The Wall Street Journal says it was a pleasure to read"
- With Anna after soccer practice, having been told by Mr. Pears that soccer has to be our priority, we joked about talking really loudly so he'd hear us and know it was our priority, hoping that would help us get on the team.

People seem to complain about the fifth book more than any of those in the Harry Potter series. Some claim it to be the point of decline for the books, many detest the angsty protagonist, and I feel the need to defend poor little fifteen year old Harry. So here's why JK Rowling's characterization of Harry Potter in OotP is perfectly reasonable:
- He just witnessed his parents coming out of a wand, people who've been dead for basically his entire life, and who he used to spend hours staring at in a mirror.
- He was attacked by soul sucking, depression inducing wraith like figures, who tend to bring back images of his parents' murder, and then nearly expelled for defending himself.
- His most beloved parental figure (Dumbledore) is ignoring him.
- He witnessed the most evil wizard in the ...
