- i went to visit my friend jon in toronto and we went to the aquarium. we saw sharks and got to pet stingrays and have shrimps run around on our hands. i bought a japanese cheesecake from uncle tetsu and also a honey cake from a european market.
- i stayed home and didn't do anything that special. i had an ice cream cake with birthday cake flavour ice cream with strawberries and chocolate chips mixed inside.
- i ordered a cake from my old college professor which was kinda expensive and didn't taste very good. she warned me that getting fresh fruit is hard in my birthday month but i did say canned peaches were fine with me. i don't remember but i don't think she used them. it was kinda dry and boring. at least it was cute.
- my mom had a work thing in toronto and i went with her. there was a work party after which i went to and i wanted to try the food at the restaurant that we went to but they only had like 2 different appetizers and nothing from the actual menu so i went back to the airbnb. i had a japanese cheesecake as my birthday cake.
- i didn't feel very birthday-y unfortunately. i had a honey cake which we had to buy as slices bc the restaurant we got it from didn't sell it whole. i got a birthday cake flavour iced tea at the farmer's market which was just ok.
- got a japanese cheesecake from uncle tetsu's again. got 2 helium balloons - a star that says happy birthday and keroppi. played videogames with meowmeow and my dad. ooh made lemon macarons for the first time the day before so i had those too. went to kinjo for sushi.
