remember this feeling! don't take it for granted because it might pass faster than you expect. write it down, record it somewhere, sink into it. this is the feeling you deserve to feel the most of. when you’re happy, i’m happy. my puppy looks the most handsome when he’s smiling and feeling good, after all.

of course, i can only wish that this feeling of yours lasts for as long as possible.

seeing you happy or knowing that you're happy fills my heart with so much warmth and contentment. it feels like when you take your favorite blanket fresh out of the dryer and wrap it around yourself, or when you step under a hot shower with aching bones after a very long day.

even if it's just a simple text of you saying, "momma, i'm so happy," i literally just... melt into a pile of goo. is this whipped culture? probably. i just love seeing you happy. something about it makes me breathe easier, sleep better, stress less.

if i could memorize the image of your twinkling eyes and bright, wide smile like nothing in the world could ruin your shine, i would.

unfortunately, momma's memory is terrible.

so i can only wait until i'm lucky enough to witness it again.
