GENERAL TIPS~
- bedsheets that are soft colors & patterns. animals, fruits, sweets, and stars are generally good motifs to have. also, an addition of texture could be really good (think soft, like kittens!)
- colors should be white, pastel, and generally soft. some pops of other colors are good, but when going for cute you want it to be innocent.
- walls are a good space for posters, artwork, prints from artists, or for hanging/displaying purses, bookbags, & cosplay/outfits
- if you have a little bit of room, be creative with the space! use lots of storage and decorate it with stickers, painting cute things on it, etc.
- if you want to display clothes, keep your closet opened and put your cute clothes (ex: lolit dresses, pastels, lacy, dresses, cosplay, etc.) in the view of others. keep your other clothes either in drawers or on the other side where it is unseeable
- remember, adding a few "masculine" items can give the room depth.
- anime figures, books, plushies, statues, cute makeup & lotion bottles, purses, etc. can all be used to cover up for show off one area over the other
- for places where it seems empty, use plushies & pillows to give it a softer look. plus it'll be a good place to just sit and relax!
- mirror edges can be decorated w/ window paint or stickers
- keep your books tidy! messy bookshelves can distract from the deco
- laptops are good for showing "active areas"--this means, putting your laptop on your bed shows that you are there most. remember this!
- don't be afraid to add bold colors like red & navy. just make sure to use it enough it doesn't seem like a sore thumb of the room
- try to hide wires are best as you can, or use string to deco it along with everything else
