- I’m a casual J-dramas lover because the flow of the story is straight to point and with almost 1 hr. and 10-13 eps. only. It makes me feel at home, as someone said; also it is because the characters’ appearances are so natural from their clothes to their make-up/faces that I don’t feel overwhelmed.
- They have a variety of genres: a slice of life, romance-drama, romance-comedy, drama, comedy, mystery/detective, medical, action, etc.
- I love mystery/detective and medical drama genres (although I haven’t watched a J-medical drama yet but soon). I also love romcom but depends on the story.
- So far, my favorite J-dramas which I recommend are (if you are new to this): Unnatural, Boss (s1 & s2), Love Lasts Forever, Colorful Love: Genderless Danshi ni Aisareteimasu, Stepmother and Daughter Blues, and Alice in Borderland.
- My favorite J-actors are: Sato Takeru, Takahashi Issei, Fukuyama Masaharu, and Takenouchi Yutaka
- My favorite J-actresses are: Ayase Haruka, Amami Yuki, Ishihara Satomi, and Tsuchiya Tao.
