- i rolled off the bed a lot when i was little, one morning my mom woke up and didn't think to check on the other side of the bed first, didn't see me anywhere in the house, panicked, opened the front door to call my name, only to come back into the bedroom to see me curled up in a ball on the floor. i woke up to the sounds of her panicked voice calling my name.
- the time her and i almost missed a flight, so with one hand carrying luggage, she used the other hand to pick me up sideways and ran towards the gate, with everyone in the airport watching and laughing
- i stuck a twisty-thing (the kind that you use to twist a bag of bread shut) up my nose one night when i was waiting for mom to finish cooking dinner. it got stuck, forgot about it, a few hours later i sneezed and it shot out
- i loved watching freddy kreuger & chucky movies until i got to a certain age and became deathly afraid of all horror movies
- i loved putting on makeup
- i locked my mom out of the apartment when i was around 2 or 3 and she was stuck out there for hours and hours until my dad finally came home. the whole time she stood outside yelling at me, and i can't remember why i didn't open the door. i was either 1) too afraid of her punishment or 2) it was locked from the inside too
- she threatened to throw me out on the street one night and even opened the door to show me: it was dark, cold, and snow on the ground, i cried a lot
- moving from place to place after they got divorced, basements, friend's houses
- the day my mom came home after having her first real job and showing me all the money she made that day: it was the happiest day
- i wanted to take in this stray cat outside our apartment
- i jumped off a flight of stairs just to see what would happen, i landed on my feet.
- 2 near death experiences as a kid, but adults weren't around because i spent a lot of time by myself : 1) i choked on a gum ball 2) slipped off pool stairs and was really afraid i'd drown
- i busted open my chin when i was stupidly leaning on a sliding door, then fell out when the adults came around to open it up for me
- i was deathly afraid of this clown toy, my mom would often bring it around just to watch me scream and run and she'd laugh
- apparently, i was really mean. i'd have terrible temper tantrums and hit kids my age
- the 3 tenors and making mom cry
- mom kissing me in the middle of the night
- squashing myself against mom
- making mom feed all my barbies
- learning to roller-skate and hitting my head on the pavement
- saying "thank you witch lady" in chinese every time i stepped off an escalator (the green light)
