  • Kinetic sand is a thing!
  • Playing Cards Against Humanity with Claudia, Frank and Fabi and using up all the black cards. Also, the Card Zsar had to wear a pink My Little Pony mask. I handed out my gifts from the US (Dr Who! Invader Zim!) and we had candy and Grasovka.
  • I bought an Icelandic poppy plant for my balcony and I don't know what colour the blossoms will have once they start to bloom. I'm excited! [edit: It's yellow! Exactly what I had hoped for!]
  • Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Radler. Such a great drink for the first warm evenings.
  • The Magicians #1.12 (7:08) - SWEET motherfuckin' flashback!! Eliot kissing Quentin is the best thing that ever happened on this show so far.
  • This list of candidates for emoji.
  • Going swimming with Claudia on Tuesdays. Making plans. And a naughty trip to the burger place.
  • The other day, the male salesperson at the drugstore wore a full face of make-up. Kudos!
  • Subway's Philly Beef and Cheese sandwich.
  • Buying acrylics and a whole shopping cart loaded with beautiful plants and flowers at the garden center.
  • My last supper - the Guardian asks chefs what their last meal would be and where they wanted to be while eating it.
  • Speaking of food: I love cooking on Sundays. Happily chopping ALL the veggies (it's a task I sometimes really enjoy because you see immediate results). I made veggie bolognese marinara and my Thai curry (which is f*cking delicious, let me tell you - I suppose it's my favourite dish of all time).
  • Oh and Claudia cooked Thai food for us the other night: sour soup, fish cakes and glass noodle salad with prawns. Yum!
  • I made a very funky rainbow cake (at 2:30am) - it was so much fun to dye the dough and cut the cake into pieces (and it didn't hurt that I poured 200g of chocolate glazing on top of it).
  • Repotting my indoor plants, caring for my new flowers on the balcony. Making big plans about all the seeds I'm going to get once I have flower-boxes on the handrail (Coriander! Basil! Mint! Nasturtium!).
  • Watching the water boiler descale.
  • Gaby Hoffmann and Carrie Brownstein turning from best friends to lovers in Transparent (such a good show and it's no wonder I received some Six Feet Under vibes here - Jill Soloway is the mastermind behind it!). Oh, and at the end of season two Angelica Huston shows up with braids!! I also loved it when the three siblings swim in Josh's pool in the early morning and have an underwater tea party. I can't wait for season 3!
  • I might also have to mention Lesbians in the Forest by Carole Pope. Hilarious.
  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - finally a new movie from the Potterverse!
  • Mathias from Berlin actually booked a flight and visited me in Munich for a whole weekend. We had an unexpectedly nice Saturday at the Starnberger See, drinking rhubarb spritz in the sunshine right by the lake with a great view of the Alps. Afterwards we found a good Bavarian restaurant in Wolfratshausen and got some Ben&Jerry's for later (of course we ate it in bed, very decadent). On Sunday we went to the modern Pinakothek and had burgers and some more ice cream in Schwabing. The pistachio ice cream at Ballabeni.
  • Strawberries with coconut milk. Genmaicha green tea with roasted rice. Giotto White Almond. White passion fruit chocolate.
  • Sia. Siasiasiasiasiasiasia! Aw. I'm REALLY late to this but she is just THAT good. Her performance at Coachella '16 was awesome.
  • Dinner with Elsa, Martina and Franzi (she's finally back from her world trip) at WUID. Great food, Munich Mules, and have I mentioned FRANZI yet? <3
  • Going to the zoo with the beautiful man. We had a great afternoon petting animals and laughing at others (like the short-eared elephant shrew...) and enjoyed a nice beer at the Isar in the sunshine afterwards.
  • The perfect bathing suit by otherstories.
  • Patterns.
  • Drawing outside in the sun with the kids on a lazy afternoon, trying out purple chalk spray.
  • Testing the Greek restaurant next to my house with Claudia.
  • Homemade Pho. I'm really planning on opening a restaurant if all else fails. Delicious.
  • IKEA breakfast with Claudia. Hanging out in bed, designing nerdy TV series posters. Making rhubarb cake. Playing pool. Late night tea party (okay okay, strawberry rum and beer party) with Frank.
  • Oh and that RHUBARB cake deserves its own bullet point. Mmmmh. Streusel!
  • Marinated/baked tofu. SO delicious! How is it possible I never made this?
  • The IDEE craft store underneath the Mathäser cinema. They have everything. I want it all. Such a hard thing to leave without a bag full of things you don't need. But I bought a rainbow gel pen for myself. I couldn't NOT buy a thing. That would have been too sad.
  • Freshly washed soft baby hair after swimming.
  • Food prep. Always having some curry or pho at home is awesome. And it definitely helps with my 5/day.
  • Drinking a bottle of cold apple cider after swimming 50 laps in the Westbad. The outside pool was gorgeous, especially during the sunset with orange and purple clouds.
  • Vietnamese food, ice cream and cinema with two of my old friends, appreciating how goofy I can be around them and how well we know each other.
  • Rebel Wilson in How to Be Single - but she's pretty much the only good thing I can mention about the movie (but yeah, she's awesome and she's created such a great niche for herself).
  • Street Food market with mum and Lexi. Pretty dudes with sunglasses. Being home was nice. It felt really good being around my family and old friends.
  • My little cousin Anna made me gorgeous boxer braids, she should really think about becoming a hair stylist. We also had fun with my emoji app and ate Apfelstrudel in the sunshine.
  • Singing (=screaming) along to Sia, Shakira, Lily Allen, Elle King and First Aid Kit songs.#
  • 90s music, Claudia's weird dance moves, Heidi visuals, licking Frank's neck.
  • Calming phrases for anxious people.
  • A colleague gave me her Japanese brush pen set because she doesn't use it. Thanks!
