- seeing a man hit by a car and helplessly watching him die. he was drunk and didn't realize he was dying.

- adam and I stuck in a room in Turkey for three days throwing up and diarrhea from food illness. romantic.
- profound moments while volunteering with patients with aids in the early 90s during the height of aids related deaths in the US.
- when I discovered we had no money or access to money in cuba (long story).
- when we had to euthanize ripley & biko shortly after due to cancer.
- coming home with a stomach parasite after 2009 visit to india (but well worth it).
- when we got lost on a hiking trail in mexico and couldn't find the trail we took in (we eventually did before nightfall).
- severe sick night after having my gallbladder removed.
- when I got trapped in a bathroom in costa rica w/ a spider (richard and adam saved me).
- when a man stole money from my mom at the px and I knew we didn't have a lot of money (I was 5).
- when we went on a long hike and came to a field of bulls that we could't get passed in the dominican republic (the bulls blocked us from arriving at the pristine beach we had just hiked hours to get to).
- adam's drunk barfy nights - though we laugh now.
- when the LA shelter killed the dog we went back to adopt the day after we called to tell them we were coming for her.
- when my dad fell on my birthday and we took him to the emergency.
- when I had to go to the ucla emergency room because I thought I was having a heart attack (during my mom's cancer year).
- when I fell down a flight of stairs on a rainy night when adam was on a business trip (biggest bruise ever).
- when I fell into a guy's butt on the subway stairs and almost ripped off his jeans. it was funny too.
- when teens in La Boca Argentina tried to rob Adam and James B (or anytime Adam had been robbed -40th St, Ashby bart).
- seeing "ghost dog" in a theater in oakland and everyone almost going to war over having to read the samurai codes or subtitles. worst movie experience ever.
- when we witnessed a mom at Disneyland with her kids begin to choke on her food. she needed emergency help.
- when we went to ucb theater and a woman had a seizure and then a man suffered from a panic attack and fainted to the ground. the paramedics taking the woman out had to be called back in.
- when my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer shortly after my mom passed away.
- when toki was stung by a bee and had a very bad reaction and also had another bad reaction to the steroids they gave him.
- when Adam's dad almost had a heart attack at dinner table on my birthday.
- bad massage incident
- being followed/filmed/tailgated by a person in a car with children in back and I had a panic attack
- when a camel spit on me at the zoo when I was on a date.
- when a beyond enormous spider appeared right next to me in the bathroom toilet in india.
- weah family problems/ cleaning weah apartment.
