• Medicare, Medicaid - (omg what if we stopped letting poor people and old people and old poor people didn't just die because they can't afford healthcare
• Social Security - classic consumption smoothing, loved by economists and everyone who's ever worked alike

A Tier

• The Sherman Antitrust Act (original form) - i s2g the worst excesses of capitalism occur when corporations wield state power and this says no thanks (has since been neutered by the judges)
• SNAP - everyone should have food. no work restrictions PLEASE. being included in farm bills in perpetuity is genius
• Civil Rights Act of 1964 - everyone should be able to vote
• Obergefell v. Hodges - and have the option to be gay

B Tier

• The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) - good expansion of medicaid in blue states, but no individual mandate. outlawed preexisting conditions!
• Pure Food and Drug Act - the FDA is pretty neat but we're still all being poisoned
• Hart-Cellar immigration reform - YAY immigrants but why only highly educated ones (i suspect i know why)
• C Tier
• Obama's 2009 Bailout of the Banks - TOO BIG TO FAIL more like too rigged to JAIL
• Don't Ask, Don't Tell - probably where we get closeted from, maybe
• Peace Corps - stop

F Tier

• PATRIOT Act - please stop reading this fbi :(
• Section 230 of communications decency act - facebook sucks, twitter sucks. the internet is actually a cesspool
• Regressive tax cuts - IT NEVER WORKS
