As soon as spring arrives, and the weather warms, I will begin to seek out the most beautiful waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest. Watch for my wife and I aboard our Goldwing in search of the biggest and most spectacular waterfalls around Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

I'm not much of a backpacking and camping fanatic, but I sure love hiking around the beautiful outdoors. Day hikes are my thing. I can walk for hours and love to explore.

One of our first trips of 2014 is to travel to the Palouse Falls. It is supposed to be one of the more spectacular waterfalls in the state of Washington. It's only about 2 1/2 hours from where I live, and I've never been there before.

This will be a one-day trip that will be packed with adventure and exploration for us. I'm researching to find other sights and interests along the way.
