One of our first trips of 2014 is to travel to the Palouse Falls. It is supposed to be one of the more spectacular waterfalls in the state of Washington. It's only about 2 1/2 hours from where I live, and I've never been there before.

This will be a one-day trip that will be packed with adventure and exploration for us. I'm researching to find other sights and interests along the way.

Here are some of the stops we plan to make:

• Palouse Falls
• Palouse River
• Hooper, WA
• Pampa Pond
• Lacrosse Stone Houses

I would love to see and photograph Gildersleeve falls and Little Palouse Falls, but they are on private property, therefore, we will need to obtain permission from the land owner.
