Why do i like things? The intention is to learn about what something means to me outside of relationships/others...

• wrestling/combat/guns- defense, community care and safety, self-competence in my body and violence
• radios- community care/safety/development, cool/interesting technology, independence from mainstream, freedom of speech, live conversations, uncommon music
• writing- unfurl my thoughts, rearrange them, know them more intimately
• poetry- structure, challenge, literary devices, organization, intimacy
• coding- community development/safety/care, design, intimacy (snapshots of life). portraying oneself is not the final goal, spreading information & enjoyment [in things] is
• cooking- skill for friends, family, community, myself. money saver (sometimes) and nutritional
• music creation/reviews/understanding- arrange thoughts, emotions, scenes in a more forcefully immersive... conveying ideas, ideologies semi-quickly
• college- community care/development/strength, knowledge acquisition makes me feel competent, still intending on becoming a professor and an archivist/librarian. library ethics are increasingly liberationist
• reading- community development/expansion, strengthens writing, strengthens ability to communicate ideas & receive them
• volunteering- community care/development/strength, learn tactics to carry on organizing anywhere, on-the-ground growth and aide, knowledge acquisition, living what u preach
• religion- community care/development/strength... i don't know if this is a concern of mine anymore, but it nags at me
