  • Born 1990, Tatiana had the rare misfortune of having a highly dysfunctional yet perfectly aware and intelligent family that kept her from being noticed (and protected) by social services. Her early years of life could be described as merely unpleasant; Whilst she received love and affection from her father and grandparents, her narcissistic, manipulative mother constantly exerted subtle but effective control over her life. Her father began fighting her mother less and less and showing less care, while her grandparents lapped their daughter's every word as holy gospel and quickly came to think of their granddaughter as a spoiled, depressive mess of a child.
  • With the onset of puberty, new tensions arose, as Tatiana bloomed into a rather curvy and attractive woman. Her social ineptness and constant verbal abuse from her mother quickly made adolescence a trying period, one where her mental fortitude cracked under the strain of the mixture of emotions. She became a solitary, home-bound girl with no friends apart from a growing library of books.
  • At the tender age of sixteen, her father - now something of a spiteful, angry wreck of a man who blamed his daughter for his estrangement with his "tender, loving" wife, decided that if he wasn't going to get the goods, he might as well sample the results - and took his daughter as an obedient, quiet, self-harming depository for his pent-up hormones.
  • Tatiana finally broke completely and tried to kill herself roughly two years ago. Such an event created a gossip shockwave down the family grapevine, and an uncle with whom she'd had little contact, living in distant Japan, realized just how much his family was fucking up yet another child. In a desperate legal battle, he fought to save his niece, and barely succeeded, bringing her temporarily under his home and hearth.
  • Now the woman she has become needs to heal, and rise to the new lease on life she's been given. But can Tatiana do it? Or will the bogging weight of depression and abuse bring her down again?
