• These characters believe in doing good, by their own standards.

　

• + ⠀ Good is not nice. ⠀Characters who are morally slanted toward the good side but are rude, unfriendly, and mean. They may want to be affable people, but they believe that being nice does not always get things done, and that doing good requires them to be harsh and cruel, particularly if they have to teach something. Will often see politeness and good manners as useless rules.

　

• + ⠀ Brutal honesty: "the reason you suck" speech. ⠀One character delivers a speech to another character on all the reasons why that other character sucks or is a horrible person. There are several contexts in which this can happen, but one thing in common is that the speaker has a point; to give a speech about it, the speaker has to have thought it through and can usually have more than one reason why you suck.
