- young people in the UK having much fewer chances in life now due to higher cost of education; depreciation of value of a university degree; the housing market being completely out of a first time buyer's price range; fewer job prospects; public services being cut; retirement age increasing; fewer full time permanent jobs available (they're mostly part time and temporary); and jobs being given to people with decades of experience over graduates, for all types of jobs, giving young people no opportunity to get experience in the first place.
