Principle 3:
- bait the hook to suit the fish; talk about what they want and show them how to get it
- if you want someone to stop smoking- show them that cigarettes can keep them from making the basketball team or winning the 100m run.
- actions arise from wanting something; arise in the other person an eager want
- you may want to persuade somebody to do something- before you speak pause and ask yourself how can I make this person to want to do it?
Secret of success: lies in the ability to get the other persons point of view and see things from that persons angle as well as from your own.
