  • Butterfly - homemade costume by my mother. I wore all black and she made huge wings out of different colors of felt. I wore it in Kindergarten and still have the wings.
  • La Fee Verte - Last year I bought a cheap Tinkerbell costume and turned it into La Fee Verte [The Green Fairy], the mascot of Absinthe. It went well.
  • Witch of Blackbird Pond - It is a book and play my mother and I saw when I was younger, and I refused to just be any old witch, I had to be one with a history.
  • Kittycat - My step mother made my step sister and I full cat suits out of furry material, I was a black one and my sister was a tan one. Our older sister drew whiskers and noses on us and we danced around the house in our costumes. We had a haunted house at our place that year. It felt like everyone on the island came.
