AM/PM Skincare Routine Steps
Skincare Notes
- WAIT 15 minutes after applying actives (25% Vitamin C serums)
- In the daytime, pat aloe vera gel on face in between toner and essence
- At night, use a sheet mask in between essence and serum
- Store rose water, aloe vera gel, vegetable glycerine, sheet masks, toners, hydrosols, and serums ( especially vitamin c serums!! ) in the mini fridge
- Throw away vitamin C serums that are oxidized, it'll look yellow/orange-amber and might have a tacky smell. It should look transparent and have zero smell
- Essences always have a watery liquid consistency whereas serums will always be more thicker and and a bit more viscous
- Thinner/watery/easily-absorbed products go first and heavier/thicker/ products are last
- Never mix Copper Peptides with Vitamin C as they will cancel each other out. Use copper peptides serums at night and vitamin C in the morning.
- Leave gua sha in fridge overnight and use the next day
- Use gua sha for 10 minutes after putting on actives (use while waiting the 15 minutes) AND for 5 minutes after applying facial oil
- Lightly mist face with any hydrosol (rose, neroli, tumeric, cucumber, etc) or colloidal silver spray at the end of routine and every face mask
- For a face rinse, mix desired ingredients and water in a large, wide bowl (not the sink!) and rinse face with it
