• Sight: Flowers, snowfall, sunrise, sunset, the ocean, mountains.
  • Hearing: Children's laughter, good music, the wind, rain, rustling leaves, crackling fire.
  • Taste: Coffee, Mexican food, melon, strawberries, strong cheese, rice.
  • Smell: Freshly cut crass, freshly brewed coffee, freshly baked bread, my favorite hand-cream (it's what my mom used, so it makes me think of her), the smell in the air after rain, winter spices.
  • Touch: My teddy bear, my blanket (it's really soft), freshly washed towels, kneading bread dough (I love it!), skin to skin contact, bubble wrap.

  • What we, the people, are doing to our planet.
  • The threatened extinction of animals such as the tiger. Can you imagine the world without tigers, because I can't, but sadly it's closer to happening then you might think.
  • Child poverty.
  • The lack of access to education for ALL children.
  • Obesity levels.
  • Ignorance and intolerance.
  • The lack of respect so many people have for their fellow man.
  • Blind patriotism. What do I mean by that? Well it's great for people to love their country, but not to such a degree that they fail to see its fault, nor do they recognise there is a world outside of their country.
  • Religious fundamentalism.

  • Godzilla - terrible, terrible film and I have to wonder how it ever got made.
  • The Wickerman (Hollywood "remake") - an abomination and an insult to the amazing, original British film.
  • Avatar - I'm afraid I just didn't get the hype, I almost fell asleep watching it.
  • Pride & Prejudice - the only version of P&P worth watching, is the BBC miniseries from 1995, the film version isn't worthy of time, especially as Keira Knightly is in it.
  • There's Something About Mary - I struggled to find it funny and I don't think I mustered a single laugh during the whole film.

  • Nationalized Healthcare - SUPPORT for those who cannot afford it. What kind of country can justify millions of its people not having healthcare as they cannot afford to pay for it? Healthcare is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT. Nationalized healthcare wouldn't be forced upon people, for example, in the United Kingdom where they have the NHS there are many people who opt for private healthcare.
  • Gun Control - SUPPORT . I'm not advocating a ban on bearing arms, but I do believe in tighter gun control.
  • Homosexual marriage - SUPPORT . We are all equal in God's eyes and we should all be equal in society.
  • Decriminalization of drugs - AGAINST . Drugs are a bad enough influence on our society as it is, making them legal would (I believe) only increase this.
  • Religious education in schools - SUPPORT . There are some shockingly ignorant people in the United States who have warped opinions of what religious other than there own stand for. The best exmaple of th...
