After I graduate from college, I am enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. I had been going back and forth about joining since I was in grade school. When I graduated high school, I really wanted to join, but I wanted to get my college education first. Over the past few years, my passion for being in the military has only increased and I feel called to be there. Only recently have I talked to my family and friends about joining, although I haven't told all of them. When asked about what my plans are for after college, I keep quiet about the Marines, depending on who's asking. I am getting into better shape before I tell my entire family and entire group of friends. They need to see that I'm serious & have worked hard to get to the best position as possible.
So what do I need to do in the next 1.5 years?
- Work out daily (thus getting into tip-top shape)
- Eat more of my "approved foods"
- Continue researching
- Pray for guidance and acceptance
- Tell my entire family
- Tell my entire friends group
- Graduate College
- Enlist
