- I had a train to catch at 0710 and didn't want to risk sleeping in so I stayed up and watched iPlayer whilst drinking powerful coffee and eating cheese sandwiches.
- When I was about ten I was at a sleepover and everyone else fell asleep but I couldn't because there were weird noises in the house so I lay awake until morning.
- The night before my higher English exam I remembered that I'd have to write an essay on To Kill a Mockingbird and I hadn't read the book so I speed-read it through the night. I still got the best mark in the class mind you.
- Several times I've been out drinking and not got in until it was well into the next day so I would just stay awake.
- That time that my friends and I decided to drive around Europe. I drove through five countries in one night.
- One night two of my friends had a massive fall-out and this resulted in one of them running off. I spent several hours looking for her, it eventually got light and we found her on the beach.
