I am not religious, but there have been certain moments in my life when I've had a definite spiritual experience.

• Every time we dance Likrat Shabbat at KDI
• Also at KDI, the final Good Night Circle.
• This one time, I was working in the scene shop, and I wandered onstage. The theatre was completely dark and silent except for one spotlight, and the guy in the booth was testing gels, so the color would just randomly change from time to time. I don't know why this was so profound, but it was.
• Lying on my driveway in a heavy rain
• Any time I have the combination of vast open sky and silence, with maybe a little bit of wind.
