I'm short.

Pros:

• I don't take up much room and am comfortable in small places.
• I was and am quite good at hide-n-seek.
• People of shorter stature tend to live longer.
• My guy friends can scoop me up easily and I love that.
• With my height, comes smaller feet. I can always find cute shoes.
• Speaking of shoes, I can wear high heels and not worry about being taller than my man.
• I can sit comfortably in the backseats of small-ish cars.
• I never have to worry about a bed being too small for me.
• In addition, I can comfortably sleep on any couch.
• I could easily be a magician's assistant and fit into small boxes.

Cons:

• Pants are always too long.
  • I often have to cuff them or hem them.
  • & the ends always get wet when it rains
• Skirts and dresses are usually too long, also. I'd like them to hit at about the knee but they usually come down much further, overwhelm me and make me look stumpy.
• I get called "cute" alot. I guess this could sometimes be a pro but at 22, it's getting kind of old.
• If I sit all the way back in restaurant booths my feet don't touch the floor.
• My feet don't touch the ground when I sit on the toilet to pee.
• I have to climb on the kitchen counter to reach the top shelf.
• I have to stand on a stool to brush my teeth at times.
• At concerts or other similar performaces/places, I often can't see over the crowd.
• I look younger than I actually am. Again, this can sometimes be a pro, but I'd rather the average guess for my age not be 16.
• Still getting asked for ID to see rated R movies.
• Having store clerks seriously question the authenticity of the age on my license when purchasing alcohol.
• Having hormone-crazed highschool boys hit on me, thinking I'm their age.
• Weight gain shows up easily on a small frame.
• I was too short for most roller coasters for the longest time.
