✧ CONTEMPLATING THE PAST AS YOU MAKE YOUR WAY OUT OF THE IRON CAGE:

• you got rejected by all of your top schools and honestly feel like shit. at the same time, you have done a lot of great things and left a great impact on the world. you just need to keep on having fun but at the same time you keep working and growing. this month will be interesting. you got to study for a lot of exams but also prepare for graduation, prom, gradbash, possibly nationals, other trips, other events, and get an internship too. you are kelan sean dennis. just because you are not going to a t20 means nothing. you are an irreplicable student at your school, and soon, someone that cannot be replicated in this world. just keep on pushing. start off, with understanding where your next years of life will take you.

✧ PREPARING FOR THE JOURNEY TO THE OLD TOWN PILED WITH GARNET AND GOLD:

• 04/01/2025 ➣ april fools day yall. you missed your bus because after doing all that work, you had to play enough of bsd to try and get some additional stones. you still got to school in time for the meeting to vote on which company will be chosen for the next year's cap and gown and rings at your school. after you did that, you did some walking around and some errands. you get more and more disappointed after telling everyone you got rejected everywhere. what if you had a higher sat, would the outcome would have been different? you were pretty tired but you had to go to another resume thing that wasted your time but your peers got scared about not having enough hours. ultimately, you don't have to do the community service activity but you've also been selected for a special event. then you get home, your head hurts like hell, and you finish the last assignments you need to finish before you miss the deadline.
• 04/02/2025 ➣ as you wake up and actually get to the bus today. you ultimately realize that you kinda wasted your time coming to school because the hoodies, cords, and shirts did not come in time. however, you did go around to get some stuff done, get letters of rec, talk to staff about plans with college, and more. you watched the nintedo direct and it was honestly pretty cool. mario kart world, 3d dk, kirby game, ff7, hades 2, big graphics, big system, really cool stuff. prices are a little annoying but it's cool with you at the end of the day. you also find out that when you made a vote to take a certain person off the club, that person or at least their associate found out, crazy how that works, you're not telling people shit anymore. your friend who is the valedictorian of a nearby school got into duke, congratulations to joseph, the academic devil. you did see the face of that person in the comment section. tbh, you ask yourself, did you get left behind? you go home, fill out some financial aid stuff, sleep away, and just do whatever while you're hyped and tired.
• 04/03/2025 ➣ after playing games and falling asleep. you wake up and get a scenes of spring chuuya and akutagawa. then you wake up and get a haircut and do some stuff. once you get back, you immediately start packing, getting work done, and updating the chronicle because you're kinda bad at that and end up updating it in increments. it was pretty stressful but you're preparing for the journey to the old town filled with garnet and gold with tetsu no ori playing in the background. crazy how you literally just signed up for a job just like that. you pack up your things for you and your dad and you guys leave out for the old town piled with garnet and gold. it was a long and lengthy trip. the goal was to first head over to orlando and stay with family.
• 04/04/2025 ➣ it's late at night but before you go to sleep take a shower and set the alarm. you then wake up past the alarm and realize you guys are moving 45 minutes late. you guys quickly rush out and get back into the car to start driving. you also realize that your dad can't charge his phone so his phone will be dead for majority of the trip. once you guys find the parking garage, you head over to the event and register for your schedule. there were a lot of activities and incredibly intelligent people, but there was also a lot of talking. you guys had a tour of the math, physics, and engineering side of campus and also saw all the cool flowers on campus. it's a beautiful campus. there were a few activites and many conversations to have with students. the first activiy was a build a house activity that would focus on the values students had. everyone would share their values and their stories and it was very beautiful. the next activity would feature the honors signature courses and discussion related to them, specfically about language and culture as well as the ethics behind artifacts. while both conversations were enriching, they were also draining. especially during breaks will everyone and everyone would talk and talk. this might have been your bad trait without being able to talk during the breaks and eating, but damn people can't get a break? you and your dad checked into the hotel and got changed. you were very tired, and then you guys headed towards the president's box for more discussion and incredible finger food. there was a social event that you hanged out with for a little bit, but you decided to walk the garnet and gold streets with one of your friends that goes to the college nearby. then you and you dad went to the shitty hotel, got some kfc, and headed to bed after finishing some assignments and talking with friends about how some other your other friends were dissing black women.
• 04/05/2025 ➣ you woke up before your dad and were wondering if your alarms really worked or not. did you guys keep on sleeping through them? anyways, you guys got ready with the little materials available and headed out for the days filled with interviews. you got to the place and you and your dad parted ways. you had to communicate and talk with students more and you did so by playing multiple games of spicy uno. then, you went down to your interview and figured out the situation. interviews would have two parts to them, each with 3 finalists. each finalist would have their own 1 on 4 interview with the interviewees and then the 3 finalists would work together for the final part. you believed your answers were excellent and what you were looking for. you do not believe they were the best, but you believed they made you stand out, and that's what you need. after that, you had some final conversations and uno game sessions with other scholars and your main group you met with on wednesday. after pictures and final words, you headed out and went out to find your dad, you guys changed into comfortable clothes, and prepared for a six hour drive back home. you guys stopped for gas and snacks, and eventually made it back home. you talked with friends, but you didn't finish some of the things you wanted to finish due to you feeling exhausted.

✧ LIVELY ATTRACTIONS, ASTONISHING REQUESTS, AND STARS SHINING WITH EMERALD HUES:

• 04/06/2025 ➣ after being incredibly tired from the trip, you come back to finish some work and get back into normal life. that's not really possible because a lot of senior year stuff is happening. you drive over your mom's car while she brings over the rental from the trip. you get a lot of work done and play some games too. you are very tired.
• 04/07/2025 ➣ you went to school and it was annoying because you were still tired from your trip but you also forgot your laptop at home. the day was okay though. you first got four bracelets from your friend and then walked around school to do some errands for teachers. you spent some time writing out papers and scholarships as well as making baseball cards. you brag a little bit while walking around. some kids think you're the most popular student because you're valedictorian. but you end the day running up and down and helping a friend with a personal statement. then after a meeting gets cancelled, you hang out with the gaming club and you guess love and friendship is in the air. your friend all the way from freshman year asks you to be their platonic prom date, despite the fact that they have a long distance relationship. after a lot of thoughts and discussion, you decide to grant this wish and do all of this. only issue is that it's a little last second and you got a lot of planning to do. you get home, nap, do some assignments, and freak out over the task. "at first i was afraid, i was petrified. kept thinkin' i could never live without you by my side. but then i spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong. and i grew strong. and i learned how to get along. and so you're back from outer space. i just walked in to find you here, with that sad look upon your face. i should have changed that stupid lock. i should have made you leave your key. if i had known for just one second, you'd be back to bother me. oh now go, walk out the door. just turn around now. • 04/08/2025 ➣ you struggle to go to sleep because of the gigantic request that was made yesterday to you. you take a shower and try on your fit for grad bash. you check your pictures and make a request to report an issue with the purchase. you just spent the day resting and trying to catch up on everything, after all, grad bash is coming up. • 04/09/2025 ➣ you woke up and headed to school to do stuff for the tech team and wash up those engineering shirts you've been meaning to wash for years now. you split the team up into two groups, one for tech team and yourself for the shirts. you go in to wash the shirts and the process takes time but you get it out the way, even though you almost flooded the room with soap, but you cleaned it up, you check your email and find out about your decision from the tallahasse weekend. you got accepted to be in the program, what an amazing opportunity, you're so happy that you tell both your parents and the chef. you walk around and do some work here and there and return all the shirts back while getting back to your nhs counselor about the event. you guys talk about the entire weekend and the opportunities. then you head home, finish an essay, do some work, and head to sleep.
• 04/10/2025 ➣ you went to school to work on the tech team but that ultimately never happened. what did happen today is you went around finish scholarships, wasting your pizza, talking to friends about college admissions, and just doing work on your w4 and other assignments before grad bash. you checked your attendance to make sure you were fine, spoke with staff to make sure your hours were put in, and just enjoying the school day. you had a meeting after school with your nhs and prepare for the future. you take a ride home with your advisor talking about your rejections, programs, and other situations with other students you know. you were a little worried about the request still so you talked to your friend about it with her boyfriend on the phone and she was ultimately fine with anything. she asks you if you can wake her up at 5:30 to get ready for grad bash, and you head to bed.
• 04/11/2025 ➣ you are very excited for today. after you finished your work and talked with a friend about the prom situation, you went to sleep and woke up at 5:30 to get ready for grad bash. you called back the friend because she needed you to wake her up. you both got dressed, ate, and listen to music and she came to pick you up. but you had to take some pictures first. you guys first stopped by a friends house so the girls could do their makeup and get ready which was cute cause you met up with a dog and also did some side quests to ross. after some side quests and picking up more friends, you all go over to ross and other stores to get snacks and prepare for the ride. you eventually get to school and after a lot of security you saw all the students and their fits. damn, you do not know how to follow a trend. your fit still eats though and lots of people like it, even if you look like a rich dad. you guys left to the buses and it was a long ride. a ride that showed their were issues with the buses chosen. you also got questions about relationships because one of your friends slept on your shoulder but if anything you look more like her dad. you guys also got to a rest stop where there were tons of people from different schools. your school was special and decided to run in and make it raining ones in the function. causing us to be asked to leave early. at least you rested and saw some friends from other schools. then after a longer trip and some of tyler's, sza's, and set it off's discography with some bungo stray dogs gameplay, you guys made it to universal. you went through security and met up with people and let the fun begin. you first took many pictures with your friends and yourself. then you guys went on the transformers ride. and then you saw them again. you tried to hide and honestly embarrassed yourself but you don't even know why you reacted that way. but after that, you went on the fast and furious ride, a harry potter ride, and ate food and took more pictures. there were times when people would get lost, you met up with other friends, and got complimented by other people. the sza and kendrick music video came out too and it was kind of important for tonight. • 04/12/2025 ➣ the grad bash experience is almost done. you decide to head over to the doctor doom ride with friends while one goes checks her eye out. after waiting for awhile and experiencing the fear that comes with doom, you meet back up with your friends to walk around a bit and start heading out to the buses. surprisingly they were playing die hard and it reminded you a bit of the situation. 'cause if i won it all without you involved (fucking love you). i guess it's all for nothing." it was a very crowded area and you were worried you might not get to your bus in time. you got on the bus and made sure your friends got there. then once the trip back started, you went straight to sleep. you woke up a few times but you guys eventually got back to school. everyone met up with each other and you and your friend were about to drive home until their friend asked for a ride last minute. it was a silent but painful car ride cause their friend seems the only call them when they need stuff. so both of you had certain friend situations. they are happy that some things can be finalized but you just feel guilty about your situation. maybe we should fuck labels or even the concept of best friends, it never did you any good. your friend needed to check out her eye, so you invited her into your home, let her get a mini tour, and saw her out. you sat back inside and contemplated a lot. she told you that you gotta talk to yourself about what happened. you thought about the possible reasons cause you practically lied to yourself for the past year or so. you should work on that before college. after sitting down, you took some last pictures and posted them online, it looks like you did a good job with the pictures. lots of likes, follows, and reposts. you just played games, talked to family about grad bash, did some work, and were very tired throughout the entire day.
• 04/13/2025 ➣ it's palm sunday. you wake up playing games and still contemplating the events of grad bash. you get ready to do a bunch of work. think about taking time to yourself after what happened that weekend. you finish up assignments and go to sleep.
• 04/14/2025 ➣ it's maundy monday. you originally planned on going to school but you were so tired that you sat the day out. you spent the day getting work done and just not doing much around the house. you ended up doing some more reflection about the situation and your feelings and your desires. your main issue though was that your original plan for your speech didn't work out.
• 04/15/2025 ➣ you got back to school and it seemed like it was time to get back into the swing of things. after doing some favors for some teachers, you did some work on the tech team and honestly chilled in the classroom for the most part. you were mainly focused on getting stuff done and worrying about your speech. you eventually got it done by getting family members and friends to come together to be the audience for your speech. you finish the speech and a scholarship, then you head to bed.
• 04/16/2025 ➣ now you start your day immediately meeting up with your magnet coordinator. as she makes her cakes for her mini wedding coming up, you update her on the fsu presidential scholarship and the outcome. then you head over to do tech team stuff while also working on decision flyers and other tasks. it was a long day that ended with you editing a video for your magnet coordinator. then you went and came back to pokerogue after some months of not playing it. you got nominated for the usc speak your mind challenge and you'll worry about tommorrow and some sleep.
• 04/17/2025 ➣ lisa and matt allen foundation, being exhausted, you wake up and head to school to make some kids have a happy easter. this meant working with nhs and kiada to make kids go easter egg hunting while also teaching some kindergarten classes with their vowels and helping kids like andrew write. you feel like the abbott teachers. after coming back to school, you decided to work on revit assignments at school and get certified to see if that helps your resume in the future. after that, you got some ice, changed your clothes, got some water, and you had your friends record you do the usc speak your mind challenge. you nominated your entire class and you'll see some consequences for that real soon. while you were doing the challenge fsu had an active shooter on campus. after being laughed at by friends and many questions asked about why you were soaked, you changed into your crockett attire to get ready for later tonight. you had a great nhs meeting where you had new officers give their speeches, found out your group did amazing at convention and how you were able to get one of the first place prizes at convention, and also just have good vibes for the meeting. you waited for your friend to pick you up, so you called your mom about the fsu shooting and went to your engineering teacher's class to charge your phone and talk about certifications. then your friend picked you up to go over to crockett to prepare for the event. you guys caught up, she's flying over the school with her pilot activites while you thought about your college rejections. once you got to the office, you finally got your college shirt, then you and some of the other scholars headed out to the house of matt and lisa allen. you guys prepared your linkedin and other messages and arrived to a very big house. you ate lobster rolls and really nicely cooked oysters and even had a whole interview with channel 7 news. then you did some speaking and networking and got a business card. it was quite difficult to talk to everyone because of the fsu shirt you were wearing. but it was a great night with great messages and the people seemed to like you. we were able to bond with each other as students and arrive home safely with a lot of rich people backing us up. you get home, exhausted, and fall asleep.
• 04/18/2025 ➣ it's good friday. but because there is not much to do today, it is kind of boring. yes you finish some work, but it is boring. you and your mom went to walmart and you got some stuff. you got some candy, lego flowers, and a board you got to get finish for your promposal. you check online and you got kids freaking out about you asking the entire graduating class to do the usc bucket challenge. you got on call with friends, finished up your speech and personal finance classes, and found out that you finally hit 1000 hours officially.
• 04/19/2025 ➣ you were talking to a friend about your prom situation and it was what you expected. you decided to start today by doing a 5k run for reuel buchanan, your mom's bestie's son who passed away 7 years ago due to a car accident. he went to ely and now work is done in his honor. after doing the work, you met up with some omega psi phi guys and they pretty much guaranteeded you scholarship for the omega psi phi which is a free $1000 for showing up. then you and your mom went to ihop and drove around a bit. afterwards, you suffered from senioritis and tried to get stuff done but you couldn't. you deleted the capybara game from your device and had a good conversation with your friend. after talking about senioritis, she asked you your type and your darkest secret while you asked her about what she feels about your friendship and her closest people in her life.
• 04/20/2025 ➣ it's easter sunday so you went to church and drove back in crazy traffic. you had to get physics, calculus work done today, as well as a lot and a lot of service hour papers to write. you get some ideas for the poster board. you talk to your mom about prom and you're kind of frustrated that she's worried about your safety. at the same time, you once again feel left behind when another friend of yours is going to columbia. duke, columbia, and possibly more. are you getting left behind?
• 04/21/2025 ➣ you came today for a meeting but you just ended up walking on a lot of stuff at school. recording things at school. talking to people at school and being called valedictorian more and more. you almost did your promposal today but ultimately you decided to wait for a better moment.
• 04/22/2025 ➣ today is the big day, well not really, but you kinda need to get this license so you can make prom night work. so you practiced some more, took your test, and passed and got your license. then after some shopping and saying that "mis bus wayyyyyy" you get ready for the scholarship interview. saw some familiar faces and ultimately it was not the best experience. you forgot your transcript, and apparently they asked a question that you could've answered, but you did not even hear. not only that but these guys got nepotism on their side so it's crazy. you get home exhausted, and just fall asleep.
• 04/23/2025 ➣ tired, you come to school to do work for a firefighter graduation. it was a lot of work and running up and down, carrying packs of sodas, working the room on top, and even driving with your magnet coordinator to publix to get food. it was successful and you ended up cleaning up, eating some of the food left over, and going back home to study and prepare for your math dba.

✧ STRESSFUL NIGHTS BEFORE PROMENADE:

• 04/24/2025 ➣ you decided to work today and take a break from school for the rest of the week only to find out that you have to go to school tomorrow for a meeting. after your dba, you realized you have a lot of studying to do for the upcoming exams and other plans.
• 04/25/2025 ➣ very tired and exhausted, you work on the promposal at night and talk to a friend about whatever. you then go to school only to find out that the meeting has been cancelled. you also found out that the president of one of your clubs is in credit recovery school, and that is kind of embarassing but also deserved based on the stories you have heard. instead, you spent the day doing tech team stuff and going through many classrooms and service hour stuff. you even find out the one of the underclassmen has a lot of money and honestly has no reason to be at your school. then after that you got some things situated, chilled at lunch by yourself, got caught on the security cameras so you can help people out (which did not help your paranoia at all). you then spent the final period catching up with your gifted advisor about your plans for college and the future. you go on the bus, fall asleep, and your dad ate off some of the candy for your prom date, so that pissed you off. you just studied, work, and focused on the prom posal.
• 04/26/2025 ➣ after talking with friends and lots of work, you finished the digital presentation portion of the promposal. you wake up and have laughs with your mom about the new colorful picture in the house your dad put up. as you shower, you think of what you may need to finish the promposal. you do some work and head over to chilli's with your dad, eat a buffalo chicken sandwich, get home, and you're asleep.
• 04/27/2025 ➣ you wake up. it's the day of the surprise party, and you are not done at all with the promposal. after talking with friends, you work and work from 2am to 10am on the promposal and other assignments. eventually, your friends would pick you up and carry you to the location of the party. while they distracted her, you would chill with her lil sister, banter, study, and just have fun getting things ready. eventually after hours of waiting and planning, you had the surprise party. it was fun, it was cool, she was surprised to see you. there were games, you guys cut the cake, and eventually you successfully pulled off the promposal and with some awkwardness and some emotion, you even made her cry with the digital promposal. you walked outside with her and another friend to talk about some of the challenges. for example, one of the guys spoiled the entire surprise due to a lack of communication. another issue is that your friend's "best friend", did not respond to the birthday invite and never picked up. you were told that she chilled with some of the sorority girls and how not only are those girls fake but they are also will drop each other whenever. you're not entirely sure about that claim because people may think the same about you. but you drove home, found out one of your guy friends was being crushed on by a gay guy, and got home, and worked on a physics assignment that you needed to get done.
• 04/28/2025 ➣ you finished your final physics assignment and fell asleep immediately. you were running on two hours of sleep and little amounts of food for the entire day. you're just happy to make your friends day. after waking up, you were still incredibly exhausted and your magnet coordinator called for a powerpoint but realistically come on, you can do your work yourself. you spent the day shopping for your prom suit and complaining about an upcoming internship, and preparing for the interview. it was a nice process and ultimately you saw your friend at the interview. you think you did a nice job and came back home tired and went back to sleep.
• 04/29/2025 ➣ you go to sleep feeling like you've made a major mistake and how you thought your life in college would've ended sooner. however, you aren't the most mad at this mistake but, wow. you get some stuff done and have fun. you just finish up some calculus assignments and scholarships and housing information. you book some flights for orientation and you're almost situated for your college.
• 04/30/2025 ➣ to be honest, you cannot remember what you did today because you are a week late from this entry and you lost the information you put last time. you definitely did some work around the school, probably some scholarships and assignments and other stuff. you are just waiting on tomorrow because it is decision day. you spent the day talking to the channel 7 news journalist preparing the article and news story for you tomorrow. and you screamed so much that your voice started to hurt and you kinda got sick for the time being.

• you start your journey doing one of your hardest scholarship journeys yet, traveling to fsu to see if you can get the scholarship. after that and getting some stuff done, you finished up some tasks and got into the program. there were events like grad bash that were incredbly fun but also insightful as you see people that you were not expecting. you believe you are not as mature as you think and you got some healing to do. you also were asked to be someone's prom date and you went out of your way to get candy, flowers, and even get a promposal made for her, and ultimately was a success. you did a news interview but it was on the day of the fsu shooting. you got more scholarships, more people calling you valedictorian, and more great things in your future. finally got a license, on the way to a full ride, future is looking bright, but you can't help and ask yourself about what's wrong.
