✧ CONTEMPLATING THE PAST AS YOU MAKE YOUR WAY OUT OF THE IRON CAGE:

• you came out of the last month as a person who finally was able to answer his question. where would you go after high school. you have great scholarships lined up, you were on tv, and so many senior activities make it fun. however, your academic performance has been getting worse, you are worried about falling behind, and you are asking yourself about why you focus so much on a stranger. with decisions, prom, and graduation on the horizion, you enter the final month as you attempt to make your way out of the iron cage.

✧ WITH A HEART OF GARNET AND MIND OF GOLD:

• 05/01/2025 ➣ well today was the day, decision day. not just the school, but the world will know where you will be attending. as you come to school, you wear your shirt underneath your hoodie. you post that you will be on channel 7 news and all you will say is that word gets around fast. everyone was wondering where you will go and some are surprised that your choice isn't an ivy league or mit, after playing games like tug of war and musical chairs, you make a mini speech about your decision. harvard and yale gave you interviews, but you got rejected. mit also was your dream school but first rejection of the school year. but with a heart of garnet and a mind of gold, you will be attending fsu, go noles. you had some fun and told others to watch the news and finished up your final dba. you watched yourself on the news, saw people congratulate you, and called a friend who needed help with a document. you talked to her while you stressed about your college exams.
• 05/02/2025 ➣ you had to go to school and you were incredibly tired. yeah you had a fun time calling your friend but the additional work had you falling asleep. you even woke up sweating like crazy and ended up missing your bus. after printing some pictures for a promposal and using tons of ink, you get to school. you shadowed a future student for a bit and went to a senior assembly where they boo'd your brace advisor off the stage when most of those kids are not even graduating. then after that, there were shangigans in the group chat and you were decorating the plc for teacher appreciation. after some annoying decorations you got home took your two physics finals, ended one with a b+, oh well.
• 05/03/2025 ➣ you wake up tired from the final and just chill since your college classes are done. your decision picture got posted so that is very fun and cool. • 05/04/2025 ➣ you spent the morning playing fortnite with your baby cousin which he did win his first game so that is pretty good. then you went to an delta sigma theta event where people saw you from the news and other drive events from crockett. you got $100 for a book scholarship. you just feel so bored and so unfulfilled and exhausted and worthless it is so annoying and dreadful.
• 05/05/2025 ➣ you are honestly stressed and just done with ap exams. you just focus the entire day on getting the ceiling tile finished and started tracing. you work with the magnet coordinator to focus on teacher appreciation week. you would get some of the food and had a nice lunch with a variety of meat. you checked the additional gift your magnet coordinator gave you and it was an additional $100, how nice of her. there was an sga meeting about leadership and you popped off with all your activities and resume and it was a great seeing the support from the people. you worry about your exam while your mom gives your friend an additional $100.
• 05/06/2025 ➣ you spent majority if the day sketching the ceiling tile and focusing on other things throughout. but your ap exam was coming up and you studied a bit for it. after walking around the school fixing up errands and getting things situated, you go and take your ap exam. you finish it, leave, and just go home and decide to watch thunderbolts. you get texts to start the prom video with your friend and help someone out with dual enrollment.
• 05/07/2025 ➣ you are so tired of school. you go and wait in a very long line because metal detectors don't wanna work. you talk to some of the underclassmen about the us history eoc. you spent the first period of the day working with your brace advisor, principal, and magnet coordinator to get students to come to senior awards night. after that and catching up on thunderbolts, you spoke to the sophomore who texted you yesterday about advice with dual enrollment and college. then you went to go get your prom ticket. you find out one of your friends did not pass the reading test and is worried they won't graduate on time but they will be fine. also you found your friend after your friend's mom noticed you from earlier had a sister in the engineering class. you talked to your teacher about the difficulties of getting into medical school. after painting your ceiling tile, you head home with your friend so you can record the first part of your prom video. you fall asleep and call her back about this weird primerica company you don't really like since its multi level marketing. you finished your urop application and talked to friend about how certain people don't stress about certain problems. you haven't even gotten around to writing your graduation speech.
• 05/08/2025 ➣ you and your stupid procrastination and poor studying got you doing a billion calculus assignments in the morning. after doing tons of calculus, you head over for an nhs meeting. it was alright, you told the future officers what to do, and found out that you are being chosen as student of the year. then you get home, get things situated, work on some essays, and fall asleep.
• 05/09/2025 ➣ you wake up, pull domain expansion gojo with your first ever gojo animation. you are looking to have spent 12 hours just doing straight calculus work. at least going back to old playlists in pretty fun.
