- I finished this book today and it has def. made it on my favorites list.(I wouldn't have read it if it weren't for Hannah recommending Sharon Creech books to me^_^)
- "Ben touched his lips. 'Did it taste a little like blackberries to you?' he said."
;LDKJFLSDKJFOEIJWOIJFNCL I LOVE IT WHEN I'M READING A BOOK AND THE AUTHOR MAKES A REFERENCE TO A PREVIOUS CHAPTER AND I CATCH IT I FEEL SO SMART AND CLEVER
- "Honest and truly, I think Phoebe nearly fainted dead away on the carpet. There were two reasons for this. The first one was that Mrs. Winterbottom looked different. Her hair was not only short but also quite stylish. She was wearing lipstick, mascara, and a little blush on her cheeks, and her clothes were altogether unlike anything i had ever seen her in..."
This reminds me of Jamie Lee Curtis in Freaky Friday because she gets a new haircut & trendy clothes.
- "I wanted to memorize the grass and the trees, the smells and the sounds."
I like this because I do the same thing sometimes. If I think about a place I've been I can recall the distinct smell. If I imagine myself walking around in my grandma's house I can smell it. And same if I eat things. If I think about french toast or cotton candy etc. hard enough I can taste it
