- universal health care
- civil liberties for all citizens
- stop blindly siding with Israel and force the Israeli government to be accountable for their actions
- end the war in Iraq - I don't care if you are liberal or conservative, the war has to end eventually.
- WORK WITH OUR ALLIES instead of alienating them
- help negotiate and then fairly enforce an Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty
- prevent American MNCs from selling arms to poor countries that are ripe for civil conflict
- work with other countries to tackle environmental problems such as pollution and climate change
- stop using racy topics such as abortion and gay marriage as campaign tools and actually talk about important issues like the economy
- do away with programs like affirmative action and instead improve the education system so that those programs aren't even necessary
- input a progressive, proportional income tax. Those who have more money should pay more taxes. Simple as that.
- find a different way to fund education as opposed to the property tax which creates huge inequalities.
- put diplomacy before armed conflict
- be the bigger person, so to speak, and have talks with Iran and Pakistan
- switch to the metric system already, for crying out loud!
- instate a living wage
- stop wasting billions of dollars worrying about nuclear weapons and building expensive missile defense systems and worry about the SALW that are actually being used to kill people
- do something about humanitarian issues such as Darfur. By doing nothing we make ourselves look hypocritical.
- find alternative sources of fuel
