- mixups of to/too, they're/their/there, then/than etc.
- excessive apostrophes
- "cuz"/"cus" (unless it's short for cousin, in dialogue, I guess)
- "shouldn't of"
- thesaurus abuse
- "ravenette", "bluenette", etc for hair descriptors
- everyone has "pretty" traits, plump lips, flawless skin, etc
- the ole "hi I just met you but allow me to exposit my entire tragic anime backstory right now"
- "[something sassy], thank you very much"
- when a character sticks their tongue out while thinking
- "shook themselves out of their thoughts"
- excessive head tilts
- "snickered"/"sniggered"
- when a character starts off as interesting, and once they finally get into a relationship they lose all personality traits and become arm candy
- excessive stuttering for "shyness" (there aRE OTHER WAYS TO BE SHY)
- marriage endgame
- chapters dedicated to repeating a scene from another perspective (unless it's done really well - which is never)
- excessively fast healing (wounds)
- completely forgetting about existing injuries and/or just not taking them into consideration as a possible hindrance
- neglecting characters' schedules (work, school, etc. they can't just hang out all day every day)
- soulmates
- tumblr overload (example: stories that cycle through diff characters getting triggered every other chapter - in a way that does not expand on the character. just for drama)
- biting a lip hard enough to bleed (it's a lot harder to do than stories like to believe)
