Yeah. So. I’m finally doing this, despite how much it feels like shooting myself in the foot. I really just want to do it in advance of someone finding this out themselves and using it to ruin my life. That way if someone does, the people in this community who have seen this and didn’t decide to ostracize me for it can be like “yeah, chill, we already knew.” Not that I actually anticipate that people will shun me for this, but, you know, part of me is paranoid like that.

Okay, so, you ready? You might want to sit down for this.

I’m a pop culture pagan! Broadly, this can mean you incorporate any kind of symbolism, mythology, gods, rituals, et cetera from pop culture sources into your personal spiritual practice. And in my case specifically, it means… well you can probably guess. (Look at my URL if you need a clue.)

This just in: local Tribunal stan has been secretly worshipping the Tribunal this entire time, no one is surprised, more at six.

Why the Tribunal specifically, though? Aren’t most TES PCPs Daedra worshippers? …Yeah. Most of them are. And a few of them really, really don’t approve of what I’m doing, unsurprisingly. But you don’t really have a say in who you’re drawn to, and when someone calls, it’s best to trust your own experiences over what the lore says.

It’s important to note that this doesn’t mean I believe in everything the Tribunal Temple says lore-wise, that I think the Three are perfect, or that I agree with ANYTHING about the more xenophobic and racist aspects of Dunmeri culture. I don’t. And to be honest, I think the Three like it better that way.

As always, open to respectful questions about this through asks or DMs. I’m not trying to convert anyone, and you don’t have to agree with me on this. But respecting other people’s sincerely held and peacefully expressed beliefs is a pretty good rule of thumb for not being an asshole, so please respect mine.
