i forget i am only 22 sometimes. a few years ago i would feel like it was long past prime time for cultivating certain talents. this is ridiculous. just last year i was afraid to start learning--until i started to frequent daiso. colouring books reignited my childhood love of visual art. then i took the leap with sewing; i always said i would after i left school. i learned to needle felt shortly after that. with each new skill i learn i feel more and more confident in my abilities. excelsior!!!

• ✔ sewing: yay! never thought i'd be able to make my own clothes!! it's something i always wanted to learn, but i was always very intimidated. now i believe i can do anything if i set my mind to it!
• chinese literacy: i want to be able to read
• japanese fluency: ok tbh i want to read manga, which i already can do in some capacity; and shop online, which is pretty easy. also play imported games. but i generally want to be more polished in this language so that it is possible to hold a conservation in it.
• dabble in european languages a bit. spanish will probably be the most useful. honestly not something i intensely desire, but i think it would be fun.
• draw again
  • with, among others, the goal of writing my own comics
• ...learn an instrument...?
• more science
• strive for polymathematics!!!!!
