These are all things that I need to keep in mind more often than I have recently...

• My youth
• My family (most recently, my amazing niece and nephew!)
• The 12 years that I have had with the most supportive and wise friend that I have ever known (Nicole!)
• The fact that I'm still employed
• All the people that found it important enough to uphold Elvis' legacy so that people like me could still enjoy his talent 33 years later.
• Anyone who takes the time to comment (kindly of course) on my tattoos while I'm in public. It actually means a lot more to me than most people understand.
• My mom agreeing to go with me to Memphis this year.
• Having somewhere to live.
• My grandfather having passed on his war stories while I was young, but old enough to remember and appreciate them later on.
• (Don't laugh) The... ethereal... bond I that have with my grandmother. The grandmother that I didn't know very well until after she had passed away.
