- that the crisp and clean and pure and simple are just as beautiful as the messy and dirty and complicated and unknown.
- that the truth is cruel and often unnecessary
- that a digital camera does not produce real photos
- that music tells us what we may not have earlier known about ourselves and life
- that to lie in bed on a sunday with the new yorker and a cup of hot tea is better than almost anything else
- that i am always uncertain and find it impossible to put faith in things
- that a good movie is easy to identify with but that my life will never be as interesting or fulfilling as the lives that characters lead.
- that i will always want to be someone else and aspire to be like them
