• I've been a vtuber fan since "the start" really. It's not really a flex, it's just that I was there for the beginning of the scene, I managed to get into it while it was still a small bubble and everyone collaborated together and it was a tight-knit community. So I don't really buy into any weird narratives overseas vtuber fans have about any hierarchies or what a vtuber should be.
• This is all to say that I'm not really a typical vtuber fan you may run into, and I choose to distance myself from vtuber fandom because it's not something I particularly relate to and we would just disturb each other.
• I love vtubers, I love the culture deeply and have invested years of my life into it, I don't like people who care about numbers and statistics because that is strange tribalism brought on by when weebs in...
