• use Nook Kitkat for educational purposes for kids

Questions:

• Can I still have access to New Yorker issues on Kitkat via Nook app? If Yes > Go root Nook Tablet to Kitkat -- YES, accdg to B&N CSR --> BUUUT
• If google detects this is a BN Nook Tablet, Nook App will not be downloadable. I guess APK?
• Is Nook App compatible with a rooted Kitkat Android? Hopefully.

  • Method one: Rooted, latest build is 2.8.5.0
  • Method two: via ADB / Terminal

    • Download the latest version, rename it to "recovery.img". Flash it in fastboot. If you'd rather not go that route, download a flashable of an older version of TWRP, use 7zip to delete the recovery.img in that folder, then move this new TWRP into that folder. Then flash that.
