- manga/manhwa! i started reading manga in middle school and mostly never stopped. i read every demographic except shounen (with exceptions) but you've currently found me at a very yaoi time in my life.
- chinese webnovels! idr how i got into these exactly but it was sometime in uni and after covid i think. my grasp of the chinese language is tenuous at best so i read these in english. i used to read romance of all genres but since i'm in my fujo era i've been reading danmei nearly exclusively for a while now.
- video games! started with pokemon pearl on the nintendo ds at the tender age of 6, and here i am nearly two decades later still gaming away. i don't really know how to categorize my videogame genre interests so i'm not going to attempt it. jk yes i am i guess i like rpgs? mostly jrpgs and srpgs. whatever
- lol esports kind of. as a Gamer of course i played League of Legends! i don't anymore except for occasional arams but i do still casually follow the esports side of things. i'm less invested in this bc the gaming/esports sphere has a vitriolic hatred for women which uhh kind of sucks to be around! but as a former lpl warrior i truly hope china wins worlds again... someday... before the game dies...
- kpop, formerly. my first intro to kpop was at ~9yo, when my cousin showed me a few MVs (gee + run devil run by snsd and bubble pop by hyuna) but i didn't really get into it until 2016 with seventeen, right between their aju nice and boom boom eras. i liked a lot of groups and i still listen to a lot of kpop now but i don't follow groups beyond their music very much anymore. i've mostly grown out of my kpop stanhood but sometimes i'll see jun photos on like ig or smth and my huihui sleeper cells activate
