- A large glass candelabra thingy from Pier 1, the remnants of which my mom subsequently was forced to buy while I stood by weeping.

- Numerous strings of Christmas lights; I was six, and my friend Angie and I decided it would be fun to play jump rope with them in the yard.
- Water glasses, while trying to drink in the dark at age 8. This was with the aforementioned Angie. We were in the bathtub, because we thought it was a safe place to spill in case we learned we could not drink in the dark. We ended up dropping the glasses, and then were stuck in a dark bathroom, in a tub full of shards of glass.
- A shitty virgin mobile phone, which I stupidly put on the ledge next to the shower.
