⠀⠀ 🎃 .. OCTOBER — OCTOBRE

“October, crisp, misty, golden October, when the light is sweet and heavy.” — Angela Carter

october's here again, and all the leaves are turning their mango colours. i'm excited again. tired, but i love the rain and the fog and weird weather. i was exhausted of september and i'm thankful for a new fresh month. here's a fun fact about us, dear reader. every year for halloween, my family carves over 50 pumpkins! the smell of pumpkins cooking from the inside is something i'm most excited for.

i feel pretty locked in despite the amount of work that's been given to me. feeling... on top of things. like i'm producing good work. i guess it's helpful that the capstone is such a big wide project, they're taking a lot of time introducing it and letting us dip our toes in.

⠀⠀✧ samhain (SAH-win / SOW-in) — oct. 31

samhain!! again!! spiritual opening... PUMPKINS! i'm excited to see some ghosts. sort of... another fun fact about me is i can feel ghosts, i guess. i had a death in the family that latched onto me when i was very young, so i tend to be more in tune with death.
