- god speed and drive safely and experiment recklessly

- drink coffee if fatigued
- if tired stop 15-30 minutes every two hours
- it takes longer for bicycles/motorcycles to stop than a car - don't cut in front of them before red lights.
- at intersections particularly beware of these
- rough roads and gravel - give them more space
- When scanning look:
- • In the distance.
- • At the road surface.
- • To your left and right.
- • Regularly at your mirrors and instruments. (blind spots)
- If you cannot see at least five seconds ahead you must slow down.
- 3s rule- ‘one thousand and one, one thousand and two, one thousand and three’.
- 20m before and 10m after a bus stop or pedestrian
- When you are parking on a hill or a curve outside a built up area, make sure that someone coming over the hill or around the bend can see your car from at least 100m away.
- Within 10 metres before and three metres after a marked foot crossing with traffic signals.
