- I can't wait to see what songs will be designated as the "Songs of Summer", those which possess the magical talent to instantly transport me in a listen to mid-June to late-August (i.e., "Home" for summer '09, "Manifest Destiny" for summer '08)

- Eva/all other college students will be home

- I secretly love complaining about the summer reading for AP, it makes me feel super-smart: "Oh, man, for my AP ENGLISH CLASS I have to read SIX WHOLE BOOKS!"
- Fourth of July/fireworks
- Sleepovers/parties
- Really just general kicking back with friends
- Wearing summertime clothes (v-necks, shorts, flip-flops)
