- I feel really lucky and blessed. My family (Bart included) has truly done so much for me and I would not be as motivated if it weren't for them. Thanks guys.
- Bart and I like to play the guitar (he does) and sing. I enjoy harmonizing.
- I like to enter radio/texting contests. I've won a few contests from radio stations (Concerts I won tickets to and went to: Nickelback w/Sylvia, 98 degrees tickets w/Mom, John Mayer at the Moody Center in 2022 w/Bart; Concerts I won tickets for but did not end up going to: Chainsmokers, Stone Temple pilots).
- Probably a given, but I like to make lists. For example, it keeps me organized to make lists for when I go grocery shopping and it helps me remember to do tasks while at work.
- I hairline fractured my radius and tip of the ulna trying to snowboard. This happened in high school when I was on a trip with my siblings and Daniel. It didn't hurt at first, but the pain hit me and I tears started rolling down my face, lol. There was no swelling on the back of my left wrist... but then all of a sudden, within 15 seconds, I saw it grow large, lol. A stranger saw what happened and he happened to be someone in the medical field (probably a doctor). He made a splint for me. After that, I was brought down the mountain on a stretcher by someone driving a snowmobile. I got to keep my Xrays so that was pretty cool. The lame part was when I went to Chicago on a high school orchestra trip and I couldn’t play on stage because I had my cast..
- In 4th grade, I became obsessed with Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). I could play 7 step songs really well and I think I remember being able to play 8 step songs.. but not really sure. DDR helped me lose a lot of weight. I’m still (age 33) good at DDR, but can only do a 7 difficulty level.
- In middle school or high school, I was glued to the TV playing Guitar Hero. It was kind of sad. Great at guitar hero but can’t really play an actual guitar. Lol.
- I took piano lessons for 4-5 years or so. I didn’t become amazing. I like piano now because it brings my mom joy when my brother, siblings, or I play for her. This one time, I learned a song from “Frozen” the movie and Evie really enjoyed it. She was really young - maybe 3-4 years old and was dancing. She was adorable.
- I used to watch the “oddly satisfying” (e.g. soap cutting) shorts on Snapchat a lot. Still enjoy them, though.
- I used to like to read postsecret.com every Sunday. Still cool, though.
