    • Grampy's electric turkey trimmer from the 70s and it being the only thing the turkey could be trimmed with. Naturally, he was the only one who could operate it.
    • Grampy making the turnip but refusing to eat it.

  • Birthday (throwing this in there)
    • Having the same birth date as my grandmother.

    • The lighting in the big living room (which I specifically associate with my birthday).
  • Christmas
    • Christmas Eve mass followed by the pizza feast at Grampy and Nana Ginnie's house (something I probably miss most about Christmas times now).
    • The stockings on the railing upstairs in the old house, since we didn't have a chimney
    • Convincing myself I saw santa in the shadows that one year.
      • We had two entrances to our living room at our old house and my parents used to sneak the presents in the back door.
    • White lights on the tree.
    • Red dresses with lace.
    • Barbie dream house in the kitchen.
    • The rotation prolonging the present opening process.
    • Spiral Ham.
    • Cookie getting wasted on Cat Nip.
    • Christmas night at Nany's house.
    • Present circle.
    • Christmas night at the Bramescos, surrounded by friends.
  • New Years
    • My parents letting me drink diet coke out of a wine glass on the eve of the millennium.
