i don't engage in t/b discourse, but i almost always have preferences and can usually only tolerate works for my preferred order. my preferred order isn't necessarily what i think is canon or even realistic for the characters, and i can discuss other dynamics on an analytical level... it's just a mental block that i have for entertainment. i also gravitate towards t/b-ordered pairing names unless it's an english-majority fandom where it would be clunky to use them without exception.

i may mute discussion of highly non-preferred dynamics for my own peace. however, i block people who frequently participate in character, creator, and/or shipping discourse.
