- Get yourself a piercing (I'm not a piercing person, I have a total of two, but getting my septum pierced though only just over a month ago has really helped me figure out who I am, I feel like no matter what I'm doing or wearing it'll represent me)
- Stretch, every morning when you get up stretch your muscles and smile as big as you can, like you would stretch your legs before a big race. The day is your race, and your smile is what you'll need most.
- Carry a journal, write everything and anything in it, write down quotes that make you feel at home and write down thoughts on those around you. I bought a larger bag so I could carry mine with me more often.
- Watch every disney princess movie in the order they were made. This one could esily seem out of place, but when you watch the same movies you loved as a child, you end up with some of the purest emotions on the simplest things. For me, watching these is something that helps me snap back into it.
- Get to know your parents, this of course maybe doesn't apply to you, but sometimes the feeling of getting back to your roots is nice, stories of your mother when she was your age and the things she did are priceless.
- Drink tea, that's all. Drink the shit out of that tea.
- Care, give a fuck, care for days when it comes to others. Helping someone with what they're going through is something that you will constantly benefit from. Do it because you can, and you should, and because caring has really become a lost art.
- Wear something flattering
