- You’re allowed to be real.
- I’ve never found my place in the world because I have more than one place.
- Do you. Seriously. Like yourself.
- Apple care is TOTALLY worth it.
- No one said your life has to be traditional.
- An idea board is more valuable than a TV.
- When it comes down to it, I will inevitably pull the all nighter.
- It takes more than 10 minutes to get most places.

- Don’t cry over spilled milk, or printmaking editions.
- Just move. Don’t ask if its the right thing, just keep moving and God will ordain your steps.
- Breathe.
- Say yes to things unless you really do have a wise reason not to.
- Keep a fire extinguisher in the house. You’ll think its stupid but then one day, it won’t be.
- You might actually like fish. People have just told you your whole life that you don’t so you assumed you didn’t. But that might not be true. Some things you have to find out for yourself.
- Do it afraid.
- Sometimes people aren’t going to agree with you, or even be happy for you, but you have to trust yourself enough to know you’re making the right decision.
- Live palms up.
- Follow God 5 minutes at a time
- Its even okay to cry sometimes.
- AND its okay if people see you cry.
- Community is the key. Seriously.
- Often we just repeat things without actually understanding them. Take time to understand.
- Assume that you don’t know the whole story. Take the time to find out.
- Your siblings make great friends.
- Listen to stories of people older than you. Talk to your grandparents.
- If a 2,000 degree piece of glass touches your hand & you’re scared every time you walk into the studio, try try again.
- Make less spaghetti than you think you need. Otherwise invite 10 friends to come eat it with you.
- Not everything has to be a joke and not everything has to be serious. Each thing has its own time and place. And yes I did learn that when I was 20.
- If its worth it, its probably going to be a little bit scary.
