Jieun grew up in the wide city of Seoul, never really understanding why her mother kept the "pretty books with the weird looking stars" always out of reach from her tiny hands. All she knew was the hushed whispers of witchcraft and the ominous title of future leader placed upon her shoulders ever since she was born. The girl was aware she was expected to study, but study what exactly? That, she didn't know. Her knowledge of witchcraft was kept limited by her mother, the coven of Tenebrous' leader. Her mother had made it very clear, that until Jieun's ability made itself visible; Jieun would know nothing about dark Wiccan arts. Things changed drastically at the age of nine, when her ability became known.

Jieun remembers the first time she felt the trembling gaze of someone's fear and pain, she remembers that she was the sole reasoning behind it. She remembers hearing the scream the man let out as he fell to the floor, cradling his head in his hands. She truly never meant to hurt him, the man had just creeped her out to no end. The park outing was meant to be a fun day for her and her mother, but she could feel the lingering gaze behind her, scaring her. She knew the man was scared of birds, she could practically feel the fear rolling off him. Jieun just wanted to amplify it a bit. Before long, the man was in agony, screaming about non existent birds flying around. His fear filled eyes met Jiuen's before he fell. His cause of death? Officially ruled as a heart attack, but somehow Jieun knew it was because of her.

After her ability had been found, the coven celebrated. Their next leader having such a dark ability? They had believed it was a gift. Jiuen on the other hand, thought otherwise. Soon after, she began her studies, and over the years, she grew a hatred for witchcraft. She never wanted to hurt anyone, she thought herself to be a monster. In her mind, her power was good for nothing but pain. But she was young, and her ability was hard to control, so she stayed and learned. What Jieun needed, was something to change her view on magic. And she found that in a boy by the name of Taehyung.

Jieun had met the boy when she was twelve and he was ten, she had found him wondering in her garden and she instantly tried to ward him off, using her ability to try and just scare him a little. Of course, when the boy started crying Jieun didn't know what to do. It wasn't until an hour later that she apologized. The boy immediately accepted it with the biggest smile, creating a flower out of thin air while shoving it her way. She then realized that maybe magic wasn't always about destruction, beauty can come out of something despised. Taehyung didn't know it then, but he changed her life.The pair quickly became close. While Jieun studied to become the most powerful witch she could possibly be, she helped Taehyung with his craft. They were unstoppable.

Years down the line, Jieun had finally gained title of most powerful within her coven, had gained full control of her ability, and she was promoted to leader when her mother stepped down. Soon after this, her and Taehyung became good friends with another witch duo: Jungkook and Irene. The four witches instantly hit it off, and began to talk of plans to make a safe haven for all witches in every coven.

Today, with the help of her friends, Jieun is apart of something bigger than herself. She now only uses her ability to it's full extent when absolutely necessary, and has found who she wants to be. She's home within the coven, and she would protect it with her life.
