+ + + my takes!

  • girl from nowhere: i loved this series so much that I already wrote about it here
  • what we do in the shadows: I enjoyed it a lot. The acting is great and the plot for every episode is good (imo). I had my doubts with it at first, but it really surprised. The episodes are short, so it's a good tv show to watch when you are bored.
  • the boys: ok, I started watching it because... I don't know, it's not that I like everything that has ~powers~ in it, but I read that the comics in wich the series are based it's pretty dark in some aspects, so I told to myself why not. Well, long-short-story: I LOVED IT and watched the 2 seasons in... 3 days I think. So far, I love the boys & starlight, I like the mystery that surrounds certain characters, homelander is a great villain, and I even like the deep, even if he was a piece of shit at first. I really really want to know what happens next :)
  • bridgerton: jane austen x gossip girl? I'M IN. I liked it a looooooot, I even couldn't stop watching. It went (a little) downhill at the end, in the sense that there was too much drama suddenly and the mc did something horrible, but it was good overall. I'm not excited about the second season tho
  • A teacher: not bad, not amazing either. It was great in the first 3 episodes, then it turned boring, and... maybe this is just me but I felt like it was too slow paced in general. It's nice to see about what grooming does to a male character (nick robinson I love you), in the sense that it acknowledges that male victims exist; but I still wished that it portrayed more of the toxic of the relationship.
  • Alice in borderland: I didn't know that it was adapted from a manga, so I watching it without knowing anything. I liked the acting, the effects, the story, the characters, etc. I didn't go crazy over it, but it's good, even if it feels slow at some parts or have some unnecessary scenes.
  • The great: AMAZING. I loved loved loved it, even with all the fucking-non-stop scenes. Can't wait for the second season!
  • WandaVision: what is perfection if not wandavision?
  • Made for love: wow I LOVED IT. I was genuinely surprised with MfL. I loved all the characters (even the sexdoll Diane lol) and the final episode catched me off of guard, somehow (like I expected it... but at the same time no). I would have loved if the show had more of Hazel & Byron and their marriage (like how did she end up... changin' so much? how did he become an absolute recluse? why was he so obsessed with her in particular? did she really have feelings for byron or not?) and other things (ie while I know that Hazel was a prisioner at the same time it's weird that she suddenly feels so... comfortable in the real word while she had for years everything at hand in the hub). Buuuuuuut~ overall? I really enjoyed it. I ended up LIKING Byron and he's the villain! (I really need to be wary of men if I end up liking male characters like him....). Please god give me s2 please please
  • The handmaid's tale: elizabeth moss irks me soooo much, I couldn't stand her. I liked it A LOT, but idk... it's so creepy. As a woman it made me feel really sad. And the pacing was tooo slow at times.
  • Squid Game: I don't really get the hype... ? It was ok. I didn't care for the main characters tbh, I liked the policeman story... The way the games were approached seemed boring to me
  • Gossip Girl: IT'S TRASH BUT I LOVE IT. CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2
